The University is multi-culturally diverse, with highly tolerant and welcoming atmosphere, making settling quite easy. The course I am studying is packed and highly demanding ; however faculties are always ready to offer help always.

The one-year master's degree is highly accelerated and demands getting to work as soon as course starts. Downside is that you may not be able to take on part jobs because courseload.

Good value for money absolutely!

The library facilities are amazing, a huge amount of books both online and physical and it has a perfect working environment. The student support is brilliant, during covid especially it was very active ensuring students mental wellbeing. Another great thing is the location of the campus and accommodation, you can have the choice of living in a more city location or the village which is lovely, spacious and social and more out of the way from city life. The location of the campus is a nice distance from the city centre and you can easily get a cheap train from Leicester to other major cities such as Nottingham or Birmingham. Things that could possibly be improved, one would be the condition of some of the lecture theatres with possible modernization of them. and the only other one i can think of would be possible making the food served in the students union more accessible in terms of pricing.

The teaching has the perfect balance between small group discussion and teacher-led lectures. All of our teaching has been in person for a while which i think is so important and not every university is doing. there is also a wide range of module options available so it caters to a variety of interests. i cannot think of a room for improvement

the diversity in leicester is outstanding. it has great transport links within the city but also beyond the city. the cost of living is the best part about Leicester as a student, making it easier to go out more often and do social activities. the one room for improvement could be safety within the city centre at night,I would not walk alone or in a small group of girls in the city late at night.

The location of the halls was amazing for socialising and meeting new people which is especially nice during the first half of your first year. The kitchen is a relatively big kitchen for university standards as well as the size of the rooms and bathrooms. Maintenance is easy to contact and will come to fix the problem that week at the latest. Security is also easy to contact in case of an emergency and reception is near by.
