It is a beautiful university with a nice location. Coming from California, it is very nice to have everything so close by with nice places to visit nearby. All of the staff which I have met so far are really nice and personable, and most are readily available to help when you need. The only minor downside is that, since the university had a lot of old buildings/classrooms, the facilities are sometimes outdated. But, with that being said, the age gives it character. Additionally, there are activities to engage in every single week with the student life, along with many different clubs and societies to join. Bangor University also provides lots of help with finding future careers and opportunities.

All the the MSc Counselling lecturers are amazing; I have not had negative experiences with any opf them so far. They are super nice and available to help with whatever you may need, and they really help you out with placements and career readiness.

Best: students support is amazing, welsh people is so welcoming and the environment is absolutely great. Teaching and learning is unbeatable since they really treat you like a person and cares about things you do, also have passions on the subject they teach.

Counselling course here is a hidden gem, apart from location is a bit far from big cities, teaching and studying experiences are so great!
