The atmosphere is really great. I love the layout of the uni and the scenery of Bangor. I did my undergrad at Bangor and loved it so much I stayed on to do my masters. All the staff are amazing, you can tell they really have a passion for what they are teaching. The support especially on a post-grad course has been unreal. I have also seen a really big shift in how services are signposted from undergrad to postgraduate which was really good. Some of the buildings are a bit dated (wheldon particulary- there needs to be more places to charge laptops in the lecture theatres). As pontio has changed the top floor to a study area there is essentially no space to eat your own food and socialise. I think perhaps wheldon could really benefit from this? Wheldon lounge area is really small and you cant really socialise in there because of classes going on in the computer lab.

The blended learning is really really good. You can tell the tutors are really trying to push this aspect. Contact hours are great. And the support is good. I wish tutors would respond to their emails quicker sometimes. And set boundaries for when they can send emails to us. E.g. only send emails to us from 9-6 mon-fri. To give both tutors and students some balance and allow us to switch off.

Wonderful place to study, people are very kind and helpful. Facilities are beautiful and well maintained. Improvement could be access to other places, cities, etc. They do have trips every once in a while, but it would be nice to have easier access to cities or towns outside of Bangor, especially due to the impact of train strikes.

it is very modern and the internet is very good. quiet. however, it is a very steep climb to get to them, especially with groceries. it would be nice to have more support to go up that hill every day.
