I've really enjoyed studying here so far, but went here expecting and wanting a quiet time, so people not hoping for that might be disappointed

there's ample opportunities for contact time with labs being run all week, though some lecturers are definitely not as good as others

the WiFi is excellent, and the Pendle Ensuite rooms are out the way which can be good or bad depending on what you want from your accomodation.

Lovely campus set in the countryside. Only con of this is the distance from the city centre and the connectivity of the campus to the city isn't always the best due to buses being the only mode of public transport avaiable. Sports facilities are extremely good.

Very good balance of in person lectures and practical lab/workshop sessions to put our newfound knowledge into practice. Teaching assistants are always there to support your understanding during lab sessions alongside also guiding you if you're stuck on a problem. Lectures are easy to contact via email and respond quickly to any queries you may have.

Rapid WiFi/Ethernet speeds. Value for money in terms of en-suite could be better by upgrading the toilets and kitchens slightly. Location is perfect. Lonsdale college feels like it is off campus whilst being on campus as it is one of the colleges that is the furthest away from everything happening + you can walk into the countryside from Lonsdale in less than 5 minutes.
