My experience this year consisted of having a few breakdowns but despite that I achieved high grades and won a few competitions regarding cybersecurity due to the whole support of the academic staff and my friends from my course.

Lancaster University has one the best facilities in UK I tend to say. They are being refurbished every 4 months, especially with the accommodation. In my faculty, this year the University has invested nearly 3 million in renovating the computer labs and the University in general at the moment is building a new Health Innovation Campus, which is set to be in-use from 2020.

In my department I have assigned academic tutor which is my lecturer as well so we are really close to eachother. During my time in the university I had problems and the academic staff have always been there for me and have been supporting me with what they can the whole time.

As I am a part of the JCR, I tend to say LUSU(Lancaster University Students' Union) tends to support the people quite a lot who are in the JCR and are making sure they are communicating with the SCRs correspondingly, to ensure all events and activies organized by the College JCRs are well funded and managed properly. Also the Union in my university is strongly supporting the students every week with Welfare events, such as de-stress tips and activities.

There are 3 clubs in total in the university and all of them are busy 3/4 during the week so the life is quite busy.

The clubs are pretty busy especially Daltons and Sugarhouse, which are the two most rated places for having a pint and enjoying a Friday night in Lancaster.

I don't like specifically about one of my modules, as it was taught too fast and I didn't manage to recap on time. After a certain amount of time and feedback from the students, the module was optimized for students's views and needs. Overall my course is well taught, consisting of 60 % practice and 40 % theory which is perfectly balanced.

As I am a part of the Hacking society in the university I get to experience a lot of competitions around UK cities and all of them are funded by the university. I can say that the university provides me with travel expenses so I can broaden my connections, skills and knowledge which will help me select my future path of employment.

I live in the university campus and the accommodation is great! I have spacious room, great kitchen with a lot of appliances and two fridges.

Amazing community and experience. Fantastic facilities and support, as well as an unexpectedly decent night out. Breathtaking surroundings with a close-knit campus. All round brilliant university.
