Can only comment in my department, geography, but on the whole the lecturers are really supportive and helpful, marking us usually fast and standard of teaching is high. Love the college system at Lancaster, it makes a great community feel

Lusu is usually very supportive. They do need to rethink how fair their society funding is but on the whole they act in the best interest of students. Lusu living is appalling though

Lancaster is a beautiful city with a great market and lots of niche shops. There's a cinema and it's only a stones throw from morecambe, Preston, Manchester and the Lake District. Quite a lot of nighttime venues too, though obviously there isn't as much choice as big cities

Over 200 societies for just about every interest. Great opportunities to volunteer on the exec too, looks great on a cv!

Usually interesting and engaging. Seminars and tutorials are particularly helpful The part 1/2 scheme is particularly attractive and means I could choose modules that interested me

Don't feel any more advantaged or disadvantaged than other uni students. Good careers centre and links with business and industry. Great opportunities for part time work too

Great uni managed accommodation, all a high standard and great service and a fair price in the whole Those who choose lancaster as a firm choice are guaranteed on campus accommodation and 2nd/final years can live on campus too
