Great location. Its right by the sea so I can pop out between lectures and study sessions to get fresh air and be barefoot in the sand. Id really recommend it for the neurodivergent folk. The Autism support is really on it. I only vaguely mentioned it in a form and I got signposted to so many resources. I only wish there were more self-catering facilities and signposting about where specifically there is hot water and microwaves. The student union and university run loads of events from guest lectures to mug painting.

The lecturers are constantly trying to better support students and signposting to academic support services. The course content feels diverse and enjoy approaching the subject of childhood form different angles (the institutional side of child protection and rights, the psychological of child development, the sociological viewpoint of what childhood even is etc). The students are really diverse. Lots of international student and mature student returning to education. Which is why I think the student academic support is so strong. There's not a lot of actual contact time lecture wise (only 6 hours a week) as you are expected to be doing a lot of self study and reading

It's pretty decent money wise considering the utilities are included. The facilities are average but solid. I got put in my preferred accommodation (quiet, single sex, postgrad). The staff like the cleaners and reception workers are really friendly. There are a shit ton of doors you have to walk through to get to your room, four of which are locked, which is great for security. Not so great if you have a tendency to lock yourself out

The university has a variety of undergraduate courses that you can choose from that of a specific area of your studies.

The course is full time in-class of two days in a week, lecturers are really nice and helpful and are happy to answer any enquires beside the support that the university provides
