Great lecturers who are really enthusiastic about their subject, you are treated like a colleague and you're well welcomed into the school. The university only provides sufficient support for those already with an illness before applying. It is extremely difficult or impossible to get support for a developing an illness or getting a diagnosis after being enrolled.

Lecturers are extremely friendly and treat you with great respect, similar to colleagues. You don't have much timetabled contact with lecturers, but you are welcome to visit their office any time during the workweek. Some lecturers do forget that students are often learning things for the first time, and are not experts in the field yet.

Rooms overall are very expensive, even factoring in bills. Some have mold, mine had missing floors. It is very loud and difficult to sleep. The main reception was very friendly and helpful, and there were extremely good benefits to halls, such as daily activities, coffee mornings etc. I met my close friends through these.

The student union is great and there's a huge variety of societies. There is loads to do in the city of Leicester and it has good transport links.

Course hours are a lot but it's good to get you working each day. Contact with lecturers is great you can always go talk to them thanks to the open door policy

Although the village area is nice and green, it's quite annoying being so far out of the city centre with the limited university bus service. Lots of the halls are quite expensive too for the space you get.
