The environment is conducive for learning and lecturers are friendly, approachable and willing to assist as they can. Limited student accomodation ha been a great source of stress and government, cooperate organization and university management should collaborate to ensure accomodation is available and affordable

My course was taught online and in class. In class learning for me is the best. Course hour, contact with lecturers were okay but the courses were so much with alot of overlap

Best and worst aspects of my university experience: Bangor University offers a supportive and welcoming learning environment, especially for mature and non-traditional students. The facilities are excellent, the campus is beautiful, and the location is peaceful, which really helps with focus and wellbeing. Teaching staff are approachable and genuinely interested in student progress. Academic support is strong, and there is good access to learning resources, libraries, and student services. The Students’ Union and wider university community make it easy to feel included. One area for improvement could be clearer communication at times around administrative processes, but overall the support staff are helpful and responsive when contacted. Overall, Bangor University provides a high-quality student experience, combining strong academic standards with a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. I would recommend it to students who value both learning and wellbeing.

The Law course at Bangor University is well structured and intellectually challenging, with a strong balance between theory and practical legal skills. Modules are clearly organised and help develop critical thinking, legal analysis and confidence in academic writing. Lecturers are knowledgeable, approachable and supportive, and they encourage discussion both inside and outside lectures. Tutor contact time is good, and support is available when needed, which is especially helpful for mature students and those returning to education. Teaching resources, including libraries and online materials, are excellent and easy to access. The course also helps students understand real-world legal issues and prepares them well for future legal careers or further study. An area for improvement could be increasing practical exposure opportunities as the course progresses, but overall the teaching quality and academic support are very strong. I am very satisfied with my course and would recommend it to students who are serious about studying law in a supportive and high-quality academic environment.
