One of the best aspects of my experience at Bangor University has been the support from staff, and their willingness to help and give the best experience possible to student in relation to studies and wider life. They have always made the student voice feel heard and continue to make changes based on student feedback. My lecturers have stopped at nothing to help me have the best experience, and I will be forever grateful. The feeling in the wider university is generally accepting and peaceful from my perspective, and a welcoming environment is always offered to make all feel accepted and valued. I have also taken part in many different extra curricular oppurtunities which have been great. They have enhanced my CV and i have gained skills i may not have had otherwise. This has all led me into my next steps of studying a Masters. Some things that could be improved are the IT resources as it has not always been easy to access all things needed, but my lecturers have done a great job in fighting for us student on such a small course to have equal consideration to other bigger courses. Overall my experience at Bangor has been brilliant!

With a customisable degree, I have had the oppurtunity to study exactly my interests with no filler modules. This was one of the main things that attracted me to Bangor and it has 100% lived up to the expectations. Tutor contact has been eneficial, and always on hand to help in whatever way possible.

The location of halls is close to the university and also very close to supermakret and shops. Halls also have a shop on campus and a laudrette which are handy to have. The abr on campus, Bar Uno, is very affordable, a good atmosphere and show the sports etc on TV as well as hold different socials which are always a great time. When things go wrong, they generally are quick to fix problems - such as maintenance requests or safety concerns.
