The best. Great location and local towns. Great staff and student support. Very good special support for people with any disabilities and conditions. Highly equipped studios and music stores. Work and business orientated. Not for the faint of heart ! Falmouth really want to equip you for the competitive arts and music sector. Falmouth has been called "Falifornia" but I don't think it needs to compare to that far flung location. Falmouth is just very Cornish and the whole area seems alive with various artistic endeavours and artistic people. Worst. Some problems with needed urgent response to a safety problem with another house mate at one point. However this is being looked into by the university. Otherwise apart from that not really anything to complain about.

Staff always respond to questions. If you're enthusiastic and engaged then they give you their best. I was expecting 9 to 5 lectures but at first the itinerary seems sparse. However that's because you are expected to do a lot of work in your own time. The course is designed to encourage initiative of the kind that employees are looking for or you will need to produce if self employed. On the other side I found some problems with the Learning Space online system. This is really a hangover from over digitisation in lock downs. There can be a bit too much focus on online systems that although useful can end up getting in the way as documents get spread all over the place in a way that can be confusing especially to those with conditions. I recommend using DownThemAll! browser extension and organising file naming and everything to how it suits you. Finally the course actually slots into other courses like the Pop Music course. At one point we did a studio recording of a band on that course.

Great secure halls for mature and other students. In a quieter part of the campus in much older buildings with thick stone walls. Shared kitchen and bathroom. Always hot water and heating. Some minor quibbles like the fridge was a bit small for a three person house. Halls team always quick to respond to problems like blocked showers. Rent £1881 for second term for example. Varies a bit by term weeks. Seems good value, did not break the bank and that's with electricity and heating as well. On site laundry facilities. Some occasional problems with some faulty washing machines but always gets fixed.

My overall rating of Falmouth as a whole is very good; I really enjoy it here and find lots of things to do. I study creative music technology and think Falmouth is the best place for me to do this because I am surrounded by creativity and a lot of inspiration. Everyone is encouraging and friendly and I have just recently performed at an open mic gig which was terrifying at first but it is things like this that boost my confidence to perform. The facilities are good and they have a lot of equipment you can hire.
