Very unique university. You get something a little bit different with Falmouth. If your into entering the mainstream section of your field then its probably not for you. If you want to do something a little bit different or "Weird" Its perfect. I study Music tech, the lecturers are very passionate and interested in your projects. Also there are 3 beaches within 15 mins walk from my house. There are a couple of good clubs and lots of partys for nightlife. It is a long way from the outside world but that helps you to concentrate on studies and find your own individual style

Some are a bit weird but weird in a good way. The head of music Antti Sarrio is one of the best teachers i've ever had.

Falmouth is very good. The course is great and the lecturers on music technology know what they are talking about! I think the university’s facilities are brilliant and there is a lot of music equipment that I can sign out and borrow from the Performance centre to enable me to record music etc. Obviously Falmouth cannot be classed as a city but in terms of nightlife it can be quite fun. There are always things to do and see with great beaches for activities. For me as a music student I enjoy going to the open mic nights and gigs in town, go to the bar ‘Toast’ and watch people sing. It is fun!
