Falmouth universities campuses are such a lovely environment to be in, they’re so calming for a university. I travelled half way across the country to come here and I do not regret it. Cornwall is a beautiful place and my course is one of a kind, and I really enjoy it which is more than most can say about other universities. If there was one thing to change about Falmouth it would be the night life, small town means there’s not much in terms of night life. But that has nothing to do with the university.

My course is one of a kind and you can really tell when you see the facilities, in a good way. They have so many options in terms of equipment and there is constantly someone there when needed. My course is taught mostly in person which can be annoying due to travelling to university, especially if it’s only a half an hour seminar, however they are most of the time worth it. If seminars and lectures aren’t to do with our assessments it is always related to work we would be going into in the future so are helpful.

Cornwall in general is so calming and beautiful and the university campus really shows that. They have multiple facilities that aren’t necessary (like showers…). The campus also tries to be as eco friendly as possible which is important long term.

I had a very bad experience when I was in halls, when I was sleeping a group of men (not students, members of the public) tried to break into my room as I was on the bottom floor. I was incredibly scared that night however campus security came straight away and tried to track them down. Unfortunately they had gone before that but they got a car number plate they got in and handled it further. The facilities were quite good, I had my own bathroom which is rare in halls and the kitchen had everything we needed about from a casual seating area (like a sofa…)

Place is gorgeous but it's way out of the way from the rest of the UK, which can make it difficult to see family often. Campus is nice but could do with a little bit of cleanup, once again though it's a lovely place :) Not many shops nearby and only like 3 clubs which can make it difficult to go out and have an interesting time.

I've learnt a lot in this course but I haven't enjoyed most of it, nor have I been all that satisfied with anything I've made for it, and some teachers are difficult to communicate with outside of lessons.

Hello student accommodation has been really lovely to stay in, I've stayed in both Maritime and Ocean View and both have been very satisfying.
