If you are looking for technical excellence go for Harper, not a thriving city environment but a more intimate social scene. I have had a good time here and my course will lead me to great Job Prospects, you have to remember to work hard and Play Hard.

Having spent 9 weeks at Harper Adams i know I've made the correct choice of university. Being a first year agriculture with animal science student I've found the staff to be the most welcoming and helpful and the facilities to be top notch. My overall experience of uni has be bettered by the many teams and societies available at the university and the activities through said clubs. I have great hope for my future because of Harper and how it has in such a short period of time shown me the direction in which i want my career to proceed after university. Via many careers and placement fairs the university advertise their students to companies and give us a chance to network with global companies. I love it and would highly recommend Harper Adams to any student interested in agriculture or related sectors.

The labs and IT facilities are top notch full of new tech and gadgets that are used frequently for classes.

With a constant flow of information about workshops and talks about subjects that pupils struggle with and other info. Student services are on top of any problem and are a fantastic help.

Due to the university being a campus the main SU bar has to step up and does so beautifully by having events almost every night.

Being a campus the university does lack a city life however this does suit me as i am from a rural background. There is a local village and it is lovely.

There are clubs available for just about everything and it really helps people get involved especially in first year.

All lecturers that i have worked with i have found easy to understand and communicate with. If a problem occurred lecturers would try their best to gain the information for you or try and guide you to the answer.

There are global employment opportunities for agriculture students and by going to a reputable agricultural university this increases the likelihood of a company acknowledging an application. Many companies are directly linked with the university and this does create a steady supply of jobs for graduates however companies all over the world employ Harper students.

There is a fantastic communal feel to our student halls and it makes living away from home much easier.
