I have really enjoyed Harper Adams. I was skeptical at first as I have moved from Liverpool to the countryised which is a big change. Everyone has been supportive through my whole time here and I get on very well with all of my lecturers

As it is a small uni the facilities are limited but it's what they can do with that space. For the size there are many facilities.

Counselling, learning difficulty like dyslexia and the mental health services are very good. Feedback tends to be short but provide some points for emprovment. However not uncommon to get only "good" as a comment but only get 70% on the assignment with no mention of how to pick up more marks

Course representatives are selected for every year and there is an annual course review to bring up thoughts

Harper is quite out of the way but makes an effort to keep you connected with busses to and from Telford the largest town. Newport the local area has almost everything you need

Very wide range of clubs and societies. The SU are also always open to helping you set one up as well

Courses are very interactive with smaller class sizes so more attention to the student. If I was forced to give a negative it would be that for zoology and animals courses mainly agricultural examples are used. Overall amazing teaching though.

Every course has a compulsory placement year and Harper also has a large support department of careers with workshops for CVs, Interviews and other skills

Great atmosphere, open door policy of lecturers is very helpful and they are all approachable. Although its not quite city night life the SU organises some great nights.
