Bangor is a great location situated by the Menai strait. A perfect university for someone who wishes to explore the wilderness and high level education experience. In addition lecturers offer a deep understanding of their subject and offer support and help to anyone who asks.

Best aspect would be how the uni feels like a huge family. For example all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Everyone knows each other. Free sport clubs are also a great feature of the uni. The small area means that cars are not a necessity. The worst aspect would honestly only be the location as it’s a small city. However it’s a very quiet and mountain like city for students who enjoy the outdoors

Best aspects would be the lecturers, they are great. Always willing to listen after and before lectures. There’s always drop in sessions for students who are struggling to come and ask anything about the course. The other aspect is how well the subject modules are structured, there are always theory sessions as well as practical sessions to apply the theory. The only negative aspect could be the amount of modules where we are required to do assessments as well as juggling sport club activities.

Good value for money, halls are a great way to connect with new people. They are provided with a lot of facilities like hoovers and kitchen equipment already provided. Only negative is that you don’t know your flat mates before you arrive unless you somehow match on social media.
