Studying at Leeds Beckett is one of the best decisions I’ve made. Not only have the skills I have gained for a future career been so valuable to me. But also the life experiences I have gained and growth I have made as a person also be extremely valuable to me. The support Ive had from the faculty here is like no other and have always helped me when in need of academic or emotional support. The city is also beautiful which makes living and thriving here easy, especially being in an environment like this. The social aspect of being here is amazing also, there are many societies to join to become more involved in the community. I have made so many friends here that i know i will have for life, meeting them in my course, accommodation, and just being out and involved. Being here has made me more sociable and brought me out of my shell a lot. It has also made me feel more confident and independent which I am immensely grateful for! I also love my course, there are so many different interesting aspects that I am constantly learning and enhancing my education here. The skills ive learnt have helped me to push myself academically and to use my creativity more. It has helped me to develop a can do attitude. The skills ive learnt on this course have not only helped me academically but have also helped me to develop into life after university, skills that will help me career wise. Leeds Beckett doesn't just feel like an institution but it feels like a family like you are part of a warm community. I couldn't be happier studying here. Leeds Beckett will always be important to me and I couldn’t recommend coming here more.

I personally love my course every module I have done I have either enjoyed or it has challenged me academically in a way I have never been before. I am constantly learning and evolving. This course has helped me develop so many interpersonal skills as well as skills to help me in a future career. Leeds beckett have done a brilliant job at preparing me for the outside world. Every lecturer ive had has a passion for what they are teaching which makes it very easy to immerse myself in the subject. If i dont understand they are extremely helpful in jumping to help me out, some even going out there way to give me extra help which im extremely grateful for as it helps me reach my full potential. Every lecture and seminar I have is in class, which i prefer as i feel more involved and can be present in my learning.

I personally loved my accommodation. The staff, security and maintenance there were great and they solved issues immediately, were on hand to help and kept us feeling safe. It was very social which made meeting people very easily it felt like a very friendly community which made moving to leeds feel comfortable. The only con id say was the location it was around a 20 minute walk into the city centre to go to university and there was only one shop near by which was a mini co op. If you wanted to go on a big shop the aldi was a 20 minute walk the opposite direction to the city

Maybe somewhere to come at night to socialise - more similar to the uni of union

One of my modules this term I feel isn’t beneficial to me at all - should be more difficult, seminars have been covering the same thing for 3 weeks now - feels like a bit of a waste of time unfortunately:( however digital marketing, marketing essentials feels very beneficial - lots of effort put into seminar and lecture materials, learning new things each week!

Love it, would more than happily recommend and show people around.
