A great feel at the university with a great students union and many opportunities to get involved in extracurricularly. Staff are friendly and happy to help outside of lectures. Good library and gym facilities.

Gym on campus and main student village but no where near other accommodation. Gym equipment modern and new but pools aren't up to scratch. No real dance studio and need more study spaces

Support was there if you needed it and it was quick and easy to book appointments

Friendly representatives and lots of events. Could improve charity work by having a proper dedicated rag week.

City is close lots of clubs bars and restaurants with lots of multicultural events such as the festival of lights.

Lots of different societies from baking, to modern dance and many sports clubs. Funding wae inadequate

Expensive if in the main student village but modern and good quality. However, if you want to be self catered you're likely to be in a separate area in run down accommodation.

Nice people. Could have better societies. Some brutalist buildings are not pleasing to the eye. Accommodation has many problems (wasp infestation, no running water, black mould in rooms) and needs to be fixed properly to be inhabitable . Good train links to major cities like London and Birmingham. But Leicester city is a smaller city and doesn’t have much entertainment. Student union could have healthier food options.

Most lectures are online and students may find it difficult to adjust and find motivation at the start. In real life lectures are only review or intro lectures.

Many problems with the house since moving in. The problems take a while to be managed and seems to be reoccuring. Wasp infestation. Black mould. No cold running water on the first day. Hob takes a long time to turn on. Leak from ceiling. Light in bathroom doesn’t work. Water pressure in shower is not great.
