The university is very diverse and it’s a community where students and staff are valued. The student support is excellent as there are a wide range of resources and library support sessions to help with developing academic skills.

The course is taught in a variety of ways through lectures, online and simulation activities which is a great mixture as people have different ways of learning better. The hours we are scheduled to attended lessons and our days off are a great balance to learn and complete work during study time.

The university itself is in a great location opposite a beautiful reservoir which our library overlooks . The support from the staff is outstanding not just our nursing team but all the staff. They are very friendly and approachable. Student services and the library have great workshops and the my newman website explains things so well. I feel there could be more well-being sessions for students as there is nothing for students to get together and chat if they need to.

Sometimes different tutors say different things and this can lead to confusion on what is expected of us.
