I would like to start by saying, I love Birmingham Newman University! The lecturers, the reception staff, the IT staff, the staff in the Bistro, the library... EVERYONE! I feel safe, seen and valued. The only area for improvement I can see is that there should be more accessible routes as the ones to get from one end to the other are very long routes. I'm aware that would be a massive project in itself but it would be very beneficial for those of us who are not able bodied. That being said, the routes and existing lifts are well functioning, minus on Thursdays (at the time of writing this) when the fire alarm test is carried out, the lifts will stop functioning. I don't recall the time of the tests but I'm sure this information would be easily obtained from the relevant member(s) of staff. All in all, I think Birmingham Newman University is a wonderful university and I would happily recommend anyone to visit and hopefully enrol on any of the wonderful courses.

The lecturers are great. They are all so personable, kind and understanding. All of my nerves and anxiety about what university life would be like evaporated after discussing them. Support is readily available and the guidance is top tier. I haven't been able to make it onto campus as much as I would have liked as of late, but the information from the lectures is available to review online.

Exceptional experience at Newman University. The course leaders have been so enthusiastic with infinite knowledge on our subjects. They have always been kind and approachable. Whenever I have needed help I have never hesitated to ask- I always knew I would get a great response. The course was great- with some really interesting topics. However, due to Corona restrictions, some staff have left suddenly which placed us in uncertainty- with one course cancelled as there was no one to run it which was disappointing.
