Studying about Nursing

A Nursing degree will prepare you for a role in providing care for the sick, injured and recovering across hospitals, schools, the local community and general practice. Students of Nursing can expect to work towards a degree across one of the following branches, Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Children’s Nursing or Learning and Disability Nursing. Students will be required to deliver frontline care in an effective, safe and compassionate way. Students undertaking a Nursing degree will go on to become a registered nurse and can apply their skills in a number of fields and settings from hospitals to Prison. Nursing graduate may go on to further study to become Health visitors or clinical specialist in fields like oncology and neurology.
