BIMM is full of great lecturers who want the best for you and your musical journey, they also have amazing facilities. The only issue with these is that they don't have enough facilities. The campus is very small, which helps to create a close knit community, but only leaves space for one recording studio limiting the ability for students to make use of it.

The lecturers are always top quality, whether in lecture or around campus they are always friendly and happy to help with any problems.

We’re a seaside town. We have a lot of opportunities for gigs and exposure in terms of our artistry. We don’t have a student union, which is sometime we’re trying to fix. We have a lot of great communities within our uni and I’m forever grateful but it would be better if we had a student union. Although, I’m very involved at my university (3 year in a row student rep, society leader and dedicated student) I do see where it lacks, I also do note where we thrive!

Like I’ve said previously, we have so many opportunities through our careers team! So in that aspect, once you know how to book in and get into it, our team and opportunities are amazing. My course doesn’t provide a lot of what it’s meant to. However, songwriting can be brought into any of my modules but there are none that specifically teach on songwriting.
