Really lovely area and campus. Great facilities on campus, but could do with modernising and food outlets being cheaper. Live the library and sports centre. Easy to get lost in teaching buildings but you get used to finding your way, especially as lectures tend to stick in the same room(s) for the whole module. Accommodation is slightly outdated, but constantly being worked on and spacious enough to have a friend or two over to sleep on air mattresses. Once moving into private, the market is competitive but there's a lot of options at many price points in different areas. Support varies depending on the lecturer, faculty support for serious matters is timely and amazing though. Night life is good if you like pubs, and always feels fun. If you want more clubs it's really easy to get to Glasgow or Edinburgh due to location (easier to get back from Glasgow mid way through the night if needed though). So many societies and clubs, and more people than you think, but few enough you'll normally see someone you know if you go outside/up to campus to study. Lots of great off campus study spots and places to relax (going for walks, different gyms etc). Plenty of food shopping choices, has a pretty intact shopping centre/high street too!

First year was hard as a lot of online lectures. Second year has a lot more in person contact. 2 placements per year, all of varying lengths. Shortest (first placement) is 4 weeks and longest (last placement) is 16. Wide catchment area for places to go so don't be scared of the travelling! The different experiences are worth it.

Good location (between town and uni), especially for getting public transport to placement if you need. Ensuite rooms have varying sizes and dimensions. Shared rooms seemed a lot more standardised. You can't break the contract, so be prepared to look for another flat after other people or pay double rent some months!
