Best - Online facilities (using blackboard for course resources, etc), the library at Kedleston road campus, the support through wellbeing, and the student accommodation. Worst - Support with studying from some lecturers could be better, more support for mental health and finance.

Best - the facilities available for the sciences, the practical/lab work and field work offered. Worst - communication with lecturers is often very delayed and not always the most helpful.

Most - the location, the facilities, the rooms and ensuites, the people I live with and the management. Least - the amount of money that we have to pay to live in halls in comparison to living in private accommodation/a student house.

I enjoy my course and the societies in the university. The students union staff are really friendly and everyone's willing to help if you need it. I'd advise you to come and check the unit out first before you decide to come.
