Wonderful place where I always felt included and comfortable. Plenty of courses to choose from with a wide range of resources to hand and seemingly endless academic support. Help readily available for anyone who needs it, no matter what the issue.

Excellent library with all you need for your course. An extensive DVD and video collection, too, for both your uni work and downtime.

Always someone to talk to and get guidance from; whether academic or otherwise. Every student is given a support system which they can fall back on if needs be.

A nice place to enjoy a drink after a lecture - usually something going on in there.

Derby is a great city without being too big and overawing. Fantastic local amenities, venues, restaurants, and night-life, in an ever-expanding city with a bright future. Friendly locals and excellent public transport systems.

Plenty of clubs, from poker to dramatics. Plenty of sports teams and societies for you to join.

Always found Lecturers to be helpful and approachable. My course was exactly what was described to me before enrolling and there were no hidden surprises or aspects that I was not informed about in-depth prior to arriving.

Excellent careers team who help from the point of CV writing and beyond. Will help graduates long after they have left the university.

Reasonable prices and very clean, welcoming, and inviting. A fantastic and easy option for students.

The best part would be finding new friends and new professors and getting to know more about the university and my course. The worst part would be the starting of my course where I was lost and not knowing anything but interesting.

My course is done offline, using presentation ad more practicals from 9-4 pm.
