There are a lot of activities going around all the. Many different sources of getting information. It would be great if everything would be a bit more compact. Less dispersion of information and fewer repeated emails informing about the same thing. Better to have a more organised system than a repeated one.

Although the facilities are good, there is a lack of organisation and tidiness around them. Mostly because of other students' misuse of the equipment and facilities.

The city is great in many senses but it lacks preparation and thoughts for the pedestrians and bike riders. The city is not made for buses, is not made for cars, is not made for pedestrians and is not made for cyclists. It is not normal that there are cycle lanes finishing abruptly. No reduction of pavement height for crossing the road. The traffic lights for pedestrians are a joke, they do not stay for more than 10-15 seconds. Anyone with impairments in walking has it rough for crossing safely. The good side is that there are plenty of opportunities for activities. I love how many charity shops there are and how the second-hand market is soooo well-considered and established. Certainly for IT stuff you could always have second thoughts, but for clothing, kitchenware, games, etc... it is awesome. Another thing is the cost of the transport. Different fees at different times of the day/week/year for the train? hello?? The bus keeps going up steadily, having raised the price from 1.60 to 1.75 in the last 3 years, with pandemic and all! And this is only for 5 stops or less, if you go for more than 5 stops, better have the gold of Harry Potter with you... You can find really good deals in supermarkets and shops and generally, the quantity of food for the price you pay is good if you know what you are looking for and know where to go. A similar thing happens with the accommodation, if you know the areas where is comfortable and nice to live, it should not be that bad. Although the prices have also gone high lately... The speculation in the market regarding the prices of renting is a joke. Finally, I would say the worst of the area is that is dirty. There is a lot of trash everywhere. Also, people go on nights out and they vomit or pee around, that is not hygienic and is disgusting.

This accommodation is located just 5 minutes away from the university and the city centre. Super location as well for going to the east end. I would outstand the value for money of this Halls location. For 110£/week you get your accommodation plus internet, gas, electricity and the knowledge that anything that breaks will be repaired/changed asap. Certainly, some things are old and need a face wash or renovation, but I think it valued your money. This said, it could be noisy if you are facing the street for the amount of night-life, and a bit quieter if you are facing the inner part, although sometimes there are gatherings of people pre-partying and could be pretty annoying. I would say that they have one of the best internet speeds in the city, as you would be using the eduroam network, but they removed the option of ethernet connection and now everything is via wifi.

All classes on campus and location close together. At busy times library is very full sometimes hard to find seat.

In person classes at least one class a day. Lecturers allow time for questions. Some lectures a lot of content for one hour

Close to city centre, not too expensive. Some things didn’t work properly.
