I have loved every minute of the course at AUB. Textiles is a very well run course, with a very clear focus on gaining industry links straight away before leaving university. I have gained a lot of creative confidence through the supportive environment the course leader, tutors and techs have provided, and feel confident leaving university in applying to jobs. AUB as a whole is in a little bit of an awkward area, but the campus is very welcoming and I believe everyone can find a group of friends no matter what you are interested in.

Mostly the course is back to normal. I very much thrive from being in university as much as possible and gaining a good work/life balance, and I believe the course is set up well for that should you wish to do it Weekly contact with tutors for design units for the majority of the year with in person tech sessions and guest speaker program

Best is the student support, they have many ways to help students that are struggling. Worst thing is about it is that we have to pay for all materials ourselves

Best- they are always teaching new techniques and interesting content Worst- the studios aren't open late

Most- rooms are spacious and warm in winter Least- nothing to do other than one community room
