I like where I live but it does have its faults like flooding and silverfish.

Great course and super friendly campus . Feels very welcoming and accepting . Accommodates all students and their needs. Great SU activities and promotions. I feel that my first impression of the course was altered by the tutor, as they changed through the year. The great tutors make the course better , and the ones who are less enthusiastic make uni life harder, so having passionate course leaders and tutors is a must.

I think the contact hours are good. They allow for feedback whilst still being able to conduct independent projects and research. I do feel this could be improved by bookable 1-2-1 sessions if you want additional feedback or help.

Student halls is so expensive, plus additional cost of washing machines makes it almost impossible to afford. Renting is a more affordable option but can feel like a huge step as a first year so most people opt for halls as they feel they don’t have a choice and I feel the incredibly high prices of halls in explorative of students and there isn’t a value for money .
