The university is a great place to study. There is easy and accessible support for all students. I feel that the academic support is very strong, I have gained help for many assignments I was unsure of. My academic tutor is lovely and has helped me with placements, my future career path and references. The support is always there if you need it and even if you don’t need it my academic tutor always checks up 2-3 times a term which is absolutely great.
The university is got a real homely feel to it, everyone I have met is very friendly, my course mates are literally the best people I know. This university has such a community feel and one of the main reasons why I chose it. They have many jobs that you can do at the university and it has really helped me when affording to live and study at university. I am a student ambassador and energy and sustainability assistant at the university and get a good salary to cover my rent and to afford some additional things I may want in the month.
The campus is so beautiful in all seasons of the year, and the facilities in buildings are great. It has both a traditional feel in some buildings and a much more modern feel in others. I think that the university is great for people who want both traditional and modern feel. There is something for everyone at this university. I honestly feel if I had gone to any of the other universities I was looking at I would literally not be as happy. I literally love it here, to all students this is a great place to go, you should definitely consider it.
Only one thing bad about the university which is not really bad is that I wish the bakery that comes on Thursdays to the university would come every day of the week, because the samosas are so nice and I need them for breakfast every day.

My course mates are amazing, the best people I have met in my life. My lecturers, the content of modules and exams/assignments are interesting and help to acquire new skills and improve them. I’ve honestly learnt so much in my degree that it has made that 9k a year worth it. So many skills I have learnt like GIS, coding, field survey skills, consulting and more that I would have never learnt if I never did this course. The course at this university has really set me up to secure a really good job as many of the jobs and placements I have applied to have accepted me due to the course and skills I have gained at this university so far. The university makes it easy to feel motivated about studying here.

I feel that this university is great for everything. The cost of living is not too expensive I only have to pay for accommodation every term, and food shopping which is great. Do not really have other expenses so it is affordable for me to buy additional things or to save. It is a safe location it is generally a quiet town, the university has 24/7 security, I’ve never not felt safe. Public transport comes not as regularly as London, but it comes it is quite cheap too. Part time work is easy to get as there are always vacancies especially within the university campus jobs.
Graduate employment opportunities are great for my university as generally everyone who wants to work straight after university or after their postgraduate gets a job from what I know of. I haven't found it difficult so far with my course at this university to get a job as I am getting accepted from many places I apply to. As a mixed race (white and black Caribbean ) student I feel that there is a great diversity here. There is a multicultural community of black (Caribbean and African), Asian (all types of Asian countries), white (Irish, European, welsh, Scottish, etc) and many other ethnicities, their are many cultures here. Even with religion there are many Muslims, Christian’s, Jews, and other faiths here.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
Both locations I have had an accommodation at are high quality. They are the more expensive options at this university for accommodation, but I think it is worth it.
Bridges hall has a long single bed and the room has a modern feel, it is quite nice. However, it is a shared bathroom between 3 which I didn’t mind but that’s the only negative aspect. The room was clean and there is a great space for clothes and all other belongings, the desk was great it had a lamp for studies, but was also great to take photos as the lighting was amazing. Took some great shots with that lighting. Also the bed was surprisingly comfortable didn’t have no trouble sleeping. The area that bridges hall is in was very quiet, flatmates were quiet and was generally a great place to live. The surrounding area was nice, the aesthetics were nice. Great view of vegetation out of my window. One thing great that you won’t know is great until you live in halls is that toilet roll is provided, meaning extra money saved on that because trust me toilet paper goes so quick, I’ll explain in stenton townhouses paragraph.
Stenton townhouses however personally I feel is the best for quality, the price and for comfortability. The room is great it has a comfortable double bed which I love so much space, the room is also spacious great layout. The desk faces the window which I love unlike bridges. There is also a lamp that is great for taking photos. There is a lot of space to put clothes, and other items. This room has a more joke feel for me the colour scheme was great and was nice. This was also a shared bathroom but only with one other person which is fine as my bathroom share mate was clean, nice and friendly. Only problem is you have to buy toilet paper in this hall, to others it may not be a big deal but to come from an accommodation in 1st year that provides toilet paper to not having it provided in 2nd year was crazy. I didn’t realise how quickly toilet paper runs out, and how expensive it gets when having to buy it every week/ 2 weeks. When sharing a bathroom toilet paper becomes your worst nightmare to buy.
