It has great study spaces if you would like to study alone, and the facilities for learning are top notch. They have wonderful student support system for any issues you might have. The campus is really pretty too, and I study in Bay Campus, so the campus is really close to the beach. The only downside is that during winter it can get really cold cause of the beach close by, but that's not too much of an issue. They have great support for women in engineering also. There are societies and support for women studying engineering.

The lecturers are pretty okay, most of the modules are taught face to face, and the hours are at least 2 hours every week. The lecturers try their best to explain the content clearly with the University's facilities.

I'm in my first year at swansea uni and i couldn't speak any more highly of it! My course is well structured, covers relevant topics to the career it is designed to help set you up for, and offers plenty of additional support outside of lecture hours. The accommodation is an absolute steal at £72 a week so the student loan goes a lot further! Nightlife is excellent, especially on student night where the town centre is buzzing! There are plenty of clubs and societies to get stuck into, even if you're not too keen on the more conventional sports and activities, with myself heading for windsurfing. The facilities are excellent and there is plenty of space and resources for you to access if you need to use the library. Definitely a 5/5 university!
