The student support from admin and course lectures is really helpful and effective.

Throughout online learning tutors were supportive and interactive as well as during in person lectures. More staffing for clinic would be beneficial

If I could give it 6 stars for student support then I would. After coming here to do my post grad, I have been amazed by all the support and help from the staff. From the lecturers, tutors and the librarians. Everyone wants to help and they have made that clear from day one. There are so many things in place to support you and get the best out of you during your time here. The PGCE is known to be one of the most difficult year but they have put everything in place to make things a little easier.

In getting us prepared before starting placement we learnt about so many aspects of teaching including time to develop our own subject knowledge and a lot of the theory behind behaviour in education. Towards the end, it felt like it started to become a little repetitive, but I think that may because I was eager to start placement and just wanted to get stuck in. I really appreciate to ITAP days they have in place through out the year. It really allows you to focus and understand one thing at a time. Its useful that they have these days during placement as you are able to put what you learn into context from your real life experience in the school.
