The psychology department is excellent for student support and for furthering student academic achievement and giving practical experience. They offer so many different opportunities to work with researchers, and be involved in data collection. This includes teaching the use of different equipment, such as EEG, TMS, fNIRS and more. An area of improvement for the university could be better transport to the university grounds. If living off of campus getting to and from the uni can be expensive and time consuming.

The course content is very well structured, and the lecturers (for the most part) are very easy to get in contact with and helpful for further information. The lectures are usually well timed and last about 2 hours, which I find to be a great amount of time to go deeper into certain topics. The uni also provides a listen again platform, which are recordings of the lectures, so if you miss a lecture you are able to go back and listen to the full lecture with access to slides.

For the value of money, the accommodation is decent, however there are some problems. The rooms are spacious and have working amenities, however there are parts of the building that were left to be maintained after we moved in. This meant that loud and messy work was being done in the corridors and on the rooms, with no notice. Alternatively, they are very good at getting problems solved very quickly when a maintenance request is put in. Equally, it is well situated near public transport and does have a full car park underneath the building.
