The best aspect of studying at Harper Adams is the library facilities which are very well maintained and comfortable to study in. The lecturers are very educated and I learn a considerable amount from each lecture. The university experience could be improved by including more on farm practical work into the course so the students are putting what they learn in the classroom into good practice.

The course is taught in person and it is good due to lectures being recorded and put online for students to access if necessary. They are extra resources on the learning hub which are additional to help consolidate the learning. The course hours vary from week to week however the 1 hour gaps in the middle of lectures do not give enough time to get into work as the hour soon passes. Lecturers answer emails however this varies from lecturer to lecturer as some are more helpful than others.

Boughey halls was in a good location as it was in the middle of where all the lectures took place in first year and where all the socialising occurred on campus so you could get involved easier. The rooms however were very hot due to pipes running around the whole room, it was uncomfortable to sleep in, even in the winter windows were open due to the excess heat. The size of room was adequate for first year and it was good that the floors were separated into girls and boys. The kitchen was far too small for 14 people to be self catered on the weekend.

Friendly, open and hard working. With friends and memories that will last a life time. And courses focused on meeting industry needs to help ensure all students find there ideal careers
