My overall academic experience in 2020 and 2021 was alright but it could have been better. academic experience changed due to COVID-19, which also changed the way we studied and completed our course. It was difficult in the beginning to get used to the change from face to face lessons to all online meetings. We were not able to easily go to the university or make use of the library facilities. I also felt upset that the tuition fees are quite high compared to the service we receive as students especially during this academic year. Therefore, motivation and work ethic, studying, grades, performance, concentration, and time management was affected too.

Newman University was closed for the most part of 2020 and some of 2021, so my classmates and I have not been recently, but my experience from the previous 2 years were great. services and facilities such as bathrooms, gym, canteen, seating, classrooms, library and more were available and accessible. There was cleanliness, books, rooms and laptops could be hired and booked for the students.

due to the pandemic COVID-19 , my last year of at Newman University was different compared the previous 2 years. Every single lecture was a online zoom meeting. everything was taught online and the University was only open for limited services. however, the teachers did support us throughout and gave us the opportunity to ask for help through email, online tutorials and discussions.

there are many career related events , discussions, workshops. the university provides virtual and face to face career events and career days. there is an online career website available for students to search for job and employment opportunities, internships, volunteering, part time and full time job opportunities.
