It's been brilliant. As a mature student I had my doubts about whether I'd be able to succeed, but I'm now in my third and final year, and deciding to get my degree is the best decision I've ever made. I've learned so much and grown so much as a person, not just with my academic knowledge, but with my confidence, social skills and friendships too.

Catering is limited but very nice. Somewhat pricey. Campus stays open til 9pm which is probably for the best, as I'd be tempted to stay later and that wouldn't be good for my physical and mental health after a time. Library facilities and academic resources are very extensive and accessible.

Very good indeed. Through our tutors and Student Services, there is a comprehensive range of academic and pastoral support available, be it one-on-one tutorials, study skills sessions, counselling, GP advice and more.

They represent the students' academic and social interests.

Somewhat. It's a bus ride away from most amenities but the campus facilities are very decent.

Very broad, and if AUB doesn't have the kind of society someone wants to join, we are able to utilise the resource of our friends and neighbours at Bournemouth University.

I like the teaching staff most. They're knowledgeable and incredibly supportive. The way they run lectures and workshops is always informative and interesting. The thing I like least is the apathy of some of my fellow students, who fail to turn up consistently, and this means our workshops aren't as diverse as they could be. I don't think they realise that our learning is collaborative in many ways.

By running multiple sessions on employability skills, how to freelance, how to set up your own business, how to put together a creative portfolio. Sessions are run continuously throughout the degree and more help given on a case-by-case basis if someone has specific questions/needs that aren't offered in these sessions.

It is a supportive and wonderful creative community! So many opportunities to get involved and collaborate in projects and create whatever you can imagine.

Best: Fellow writers all in one room, chances for editing and personal growth as well as collaborating Worst: The style of relaying information (powerpoints)/organisation of assessments and resources.

Most: Very helpful staff, good sized rooms, en-suite, large desk, close to the beach and local amenities, good bus routes, close to train station and shops Least: Noise, room very close to entrance and path so very loud, bathrooms flood easily
