4.1Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh offers a range of student accommodation on its campus Student Village. Set within landscaped parkland and right next to the student union, the Student Village Accommodation is modern, safe and has easy access to the city, coast and countryside.
All rooms are in community flats and are ensuite, with two types available: standard and premium.
Standard rooms are in six-bedroom flats and include a single bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, drawers, and bookcase. Premium rooms are larger, arranged in flats of three to five rooms, and include a double bed. Each flat has a shared kitchen and living space where students can cook, relax, and socialise together.
Prices vary from £139 to £170 per week, based on room type, and are let on a 38-week contract. Your rent will cover utilities, internet, basic contents insurance, 24/7 security, a maintenance team, and pastoral support, giving students peace of mind and the freedom to focus on their studies and social life.
QMU's student halls provide a supportive living environment. The university's Residents' Life programme provides social events for students living on campus helps them make friends and feel like they belong. QMU recently came 6th in the UK in the WUSCAS 2025 for its Halls and Student Accommodation.
