Excellent university. It give's out so many opportunities and tools for students so they can get the most out of university life to ensure they receive the grade they deserve.
The course is backed up with staff who are both knowledgable and passionate about what they teach. Despite the course not have enough structured lesson hours in my opinion, the amount of knowledge I get from all my lessons is great and develops me as a journalist.
Friendly and really helpful lecturers from the psychology department! Most students are friendly as well even tho minority are rude. Having a great time and enjoying my course here!
There's some really good areas and opportunities where students can engage and participate in loads of aspects of the University, however the courses fall short in communication, and decision making in aspects of the University, unless you are engaging loads.
it is a good university and with fantastic technology facilities. For any course, the university have the perfect technology for it and the stuff are very helpful.
Brilliant university with brilliant courses. Course are designed to be informative and interesting at the same time. Tutors are friendly and helpful. They are always available when you need them. Extra curricular activities are great fun. Its always something happening for everyone. Overall its a nice university with great learning experience.
The university is a very good place to study and complete the course at a comfortable atmosphere. The people are great aswell the teachers. Everyone around is friendly as well as being professional. The university has alot to offer to students and is well organised in whatever it may be.
It's a very good university, focused on helping students succeed in the real life by offering placement opportunities. The lecturers are extremely friendly and helpful (the majority but of course there are always exceptions) and the only bad thing I could have found about this uni is that the City North campus was in Perry Barr, which is a disgusting area to live in, extremely dangerous and filthy. But now, this campus will be moved to City Center which means no student will have to endure living in Perry Barr anymore, which is fantastic!
Birmingham City university is a great university, the courses are well structured and the job prospect percentages are great, especially in the BIAD faculty - Fashion Design specific. The lecturers have a lot of experience in industries also which is a big help when it comes to wanting to know about where you want to work in the future.
University is great, great facilities, helpful tutors and its constantly expanding with new and better things. Only encountered a few problems but they were quickly sorted out by staff.
I think that in some years this university will be in the top universities.almost everything is perfect, the only problem I have faced is acomodation which is not university problem in my opinion
In my first year and loving it, my course leader, Andrew Wilson does a fantastic job in running the course. I've gone from knowing nothing about c# to being able to write confidently and use it well with unity, I am planning on releasing my first mobile game this month.
The university is brilliant I do wish I had more time with the teachers and more time to do the exercises in class. There is a lack of computers so sometimes it is annoying trying to study and other students ask "you finishing soon?" Lectures are very understanding and there is some industry standard criteria within the course which will prepare me for the outside world. Clubs, Societies and the SU are wonderful good support and a good way to meet new people and get involved. University is a place of learning but it is also a great opportunity to meet a huge range of people. Different types and from different area's. I find myself going on road trips with friends from other cities from time to time which has opened my eyes to a world of experiences!
I am coping well I will see what the 2nd half brings. The university does not hit my expectations but I am on the new campus so I am sure it has teething issues.
I am enjoying my time here, but they need to be more organized and make it more interesting. They need to work on making us more motivated. Advice I would give would be to think seriously about what you are going to do because of the money it will cost you.
Uni is a great experience as you meet a lot of new people and become more independent. It is a big step up from college so be ready for a challenge.
Busy! University is great but it is not easy, it is easy to get lost with the amount of time you have, Three years seems a long time but it mostly all happens in the second and final year. your best bet is to dig deep into the course your applying for and make sure it ticks the all the boxes for future employment. I decided to go for an IT degree since technology interest me and every companies back bone is it is IT system. Life is good I have met lots of people here and I feel like a whole new person since being here.
I'm having a fantastic time here at the BCU. All my expectations have been met. My course is great and inspiring. My advice would be to save money before coming here.
A final year student can give the best review. I have seen the change and development in myself and the university. I am on a promising course and the university is on a promising path. The SU is a huge support even though they are separate from the uni they know there stuff!

University was very excellent in terms of facilities and teaching. Studied my bsc computer science, now I have landed my dream job in software developer position because of all the skills I gained through my three year course. Definitely will recommend to anyone who looking for modernised university
