The university is amazing, I love the greenery on campus and around the city. The university campus itself is a lovely mix of modern and classic buildings. Student and career support is very good, and highlighted everywhere. The only problem that I have encountered is the accommodation, the accommodation selection and offer process is really not good, with lots of people ending up unhappy with their accommodations. However, the university is still amazing.
Exeter's campus has some very nice aspects - eg., the natural spaces, ponds, and so on. However, there is a lot of wastage and inefficiency in the name of technological progress. The campus is covered in TVs which just show one power point slide - those could have been posters. The gym's electronic barriers are constantly breaking, and more trouble than they're worth. Some of the Student Societies here are great, but the Students Guild can be a very bureaucratic and cumbersome organisation.
The course is very interesting and well structured. I really like the campus and facilities
Not very diverse but the student support and the wellbeing team is very good
It's a good uni, close to the city centre and with good transport links for further afield. Not much space to study on campus, as the library is just full of the same people leaving their stuff at desks all day, then going off to do other things, like going to lectures. Most of the other study spaces on campus are coffee shops. Teaching is hit or miss, depending on the lecturer, but mostly ok. Sports facilities are pretty decent.
A very green campus and good facilities
Most beautiful location as Falmouth is a fantastic student town and living by the beach is so beautiful! The quality of teaching and dedication of lecturers is incredible and the campus itself is a great place to do work.
The lecture halls are well equipped, ensuring adequate space for all; this is also seen in smaller groups and rooms during seminars and tutorials. Help with careers and CVs is also available at Exeter University if the students wish to reach out.
I have no improvements, its perfect!
I've really enjoyed my course and my university experience so far!
Guild can be really unhelpful and annoying once you get on society committee but otherwise good.
Exeter is a lovely place to study, the green hills and excellent student union (forum) are wonderful to study in and be around. The support is easy to access both physically and mentally with the on campus medical centre. The night life in Exeter is mostly good, the campus security is excellent and I feel safe to walk around on campus, the only issue is the lack of receptions on weekends causing a cut off from post from home, which can be a lifeline for some students
I wish there are more space in the forum to study as it is very crowded all the time and it is hard to find the seats to study together with friends
Facilities for research are phenomenal and the lecture content is fascinating and well delivered. However, essays structure is often poorly noted on in lectures leading to the essay coursework often being harder than they need to be
Sports are the best; the hills are really big, though!
The best aspect of studying at the University of Exeter is the campus environment and the quality of teaching. The supportive academic staff, strong reputation, and beautiful surroundings make it a great place to focus on your studies while still enjoying student life. The main downsides are the cost of living, particularly accommodation, and the quieter location, which may not suit everyone. Improving access to student support services and expanding affordable housing options would make the experience even better.
Best aspect is the people, all so welcoming, friendly and supportive. Worst thing is having my lectures on St Luke’s campus but been put in accommodation a 45 minute walk away!
Excellent university with a brilliant support network for students. Exeter has been so welcoming as a mature disabled student and have impressed me with what they can offer. All staff so far have been so informative and open with their research, making studying here challenging and informative in all the best ways!

The campus and city are ideal, there aren’t any obvious improvements to be made.
It’s a good mixture of tutorials, lectures and lab work. I do wish that there were seminars in the first year. However, I do understand that, due to the broad scope of the curriculum, it isn’t feasible.
Cheapest halls yet we still have a cleaner once a week, no complaints from me.
