One of the best parts of studying at Roehampton University is the friendly and supportive environment. The lecturers explain topics clearly and are always willing to help when students have questions. The campus is peaceful, with good facilities like the library, study rooms, and social spaces, which makes it a comfortable place to learn. I also enjoy meeting classmates from different countries and backgrounds because it helps me learn new ideas and understand different cultures. The teaching style at Roehampton makes learning easier and more enjoyable. Seminars and group activities help me understand the lessons better, and the coursework is practical, helping me connect what I learn to real-life situations. I feel that the university encourages students to think independently and build confidence. Overall, I feel supported in my studies, and this has helped me grow both academically and personally. Even though my experience has been positive, there are some areas that could improve. Sometimes the workload feels heavy, especially when deadlines are close together. Communication about certain tasks or readings can be unclear at times. More career support, part-time job opportunities, and more flexible timetables would also make things easier for students. However, these challenges are common in most universities, and Roehampton still offers a good overall student experience.
The University of Roehampton offers a warm, inclusive environment with supportive staff and a beautiful campus — the only challenge I faced was adapting to the pace of academic life, which at times felt overwhelming but ultimately enriching.

⸻ Best aspects: Roehampton University has a very supportive and friendly environment. The campus is green and peaceful, which helps create a calm atmosphere for studying and relaxing. The lecturers are approachable and genuinely care about students’ progress. I also like the diversity — you get to meet people from all around the world and learn from different cultures. The university provides good resources, especially for international students, such as academic support and wellbeing services. Worst aspects / how it could be improved: Sometimes communication between departments can be slow, especially when it comes to admin or timetable issues. It would also be helpful if there were more study spaces open late and more events to help students connect outside of classes. Apart from that, the overall experience has been positive and encouraging.
Good quality education
The best aspect of the university is that the university has the new campus with best facilities. And also affordable tuition fees for international students

Teachers are very busy and do not have time to answer all the emails. Also, some classrooms do not have heating and it gets too cold.
The campus is amazing and it is located in a nice area in London. Not too far from the city center and very close to Richmond Park, like a feeling of being outside of London and all its traffic while you are actually in London. The staff and people at the uni are really nice and helpful. Only negative thing in my course there is not many opportunities offered by the university. And this does not reflect only my situation but also many others are experiencing the same.
My best experience so far is how much support i got when i went through a rough time. And the worst aspects, there’s not much bad experiences i’ve had at this university
The university is fairly close to the local buses and train. The environment provides good space and calm. There are different cafes and students canteen which have a few microwave to warm up food. I like the library comfortable and convenient.
Building new friendships and society and also learning new skills. Struggling financially and academic stress juggling personal and student life.

The strong sense of community across its colleges makes it a great place to study, and student support services are helpful and accessible. However, communication from the university can sometimes be unclear, workload peaks can be stressful, and on-campus food and accommodation can be expensive. Overall, Roehampton is a friendly and engaging place to learn, with room for improvement in organisation and affordability.
The best aspects of my BSc Business Management course are the engaging, real-world topics and the supportive lecturers who make complex ideas easy to understand. The mix of in-class teaching, group work, and independent study keeps the course varied, and the contact hours are generally helpful for staying on track. I also appreciate opportunities to develop practical skills like presentations and teamwork. However, some modules could be better organised, and communication about deadlines or timetable changes can be slow. At times the workload becomes heavy, especially when several assignments overlap, which can make the course feel more stressful than it needs to be. Overall, the course is valuable and interesting, but improved organisation would make it even stronger.
Living in Elm Grove Hall has been a positive experience overall, with modern rooms, clean shared spaces, and a convenient location close to lectures and key campus facilities. The building feels safe, the amenities are reliable, and the social atmosphere makes it easy to meet new people. However, the rent is quite high for what’s offered, and during busy times the shared kitchen can get crowded or messy. Noise can also be an issue on some nights, depending on your flatmates. Overall, Elm Grove Hall provides comfortable and modern accommodation, but the cost and occasional noise are its main downsides.
