It is the only campus based London university that is also a Russell Group! Best of both worlds.
The uni staff are helpful
the student support have been very good to me, especially as they are very understanding about how expensive it is to be a student in london. i’ve been awarded multiple bursaries and been helped massively by the welfare team. however, the student union rarely put on any interesting events and the student bar is expensive and honestly rather tragic. the campus buildings also need refurbishment however they have just refurbished the library which is good but it has only just been completed and i’m about to finish! the food and drink on campus is also very expensive and not great for people with allergies or intolerances.

Best aspects is that the campus overall has lively areas to sit and chill for eg canal side and also the professors have a very unique examples to teach children and provide students with fresh perspectives. Worst aspects have to be the food available at the QMUL curve- I don’t think the food is fresh and it’s not even close to good. And also it’s expected that if as a university we want to have our students drink coffee and frappe at QMUL curve then we need to reduce our prices for the students as compared to Starbucks that Is literally just outside the campus.
Library open 24/7 Great location Bad on campus student life but London is fantastic Great gym Engineering building is modern
Best thing: Societies and student support Worst thing: HR and QMUL administration (expecially during teacher strikes)
Overall amazing experience
Good!
Enjoy
More study/group spaces
Best: can use Bloomberg room for trading and many practical modules for finance. Good range of societies although the SU doesn't do much
It was great!
The facilities and teaching staff are great
I enjoyed the good facilities and societies as well as a good virtual learning environment. The worst aspect maybe were that contacting staff for help with certain issues was complicated and slow sometimes
Good uni
Nice student community but medicine/dentistry campus is very small
The history course is nice and diverse. The look of the campus is a little ugly.

If possible, make the canteen food cheaper
The lecturers are poor teachers, they waffle for an hour straight to just fill the time
