Due to my disability I thought I wouldn't be able to go to university away from home but at St Mary's I have had the support to be able to be independent and explore amazing opportunities, I have made life long friends and feel so at home and safe on campus. I love the close community. All the staff is so friendly and always happy to help. Because it's a small community everyone gets to know everyone and it really is a home away from home.

The atmosphere is quite nice and the campus is very beautiful. I do think as an international student there aren't many opportunities to integrate properly with home students. At times, there's a sense of othering. Maybe providing a more thorough orientation process with international students to ensure they feel include in the SMU community.

The dining hall could be improved, point system is very restrictive and points should be able to carry over for a time period- maybe for a week
