The uni is great, the staff are kind and helpful. Because it’s in the city, I have issues with transport and parking, it would be great if they had a free facility for staff and students only. I think they are lacking in the amount of social activities, I wouldn’t say it’s a party university. Apart from that, there’s lots of great study spaces and the technical team are great and very knowledgeable.
the city is amazing there isn’t much info on student union stuff and student help can be lack lustre
The uni is an amazing place to study, as student support whether from lecturers or other professionals in the uni is amazing and they’re accommodating to your needs. Student life feels freeing here, with people who are friendly and the student union offering so many opportunities to interact and socialise.
The teachers always take interest in what you are doing and are always available to help if you need it!
It's great for people who want to experience university life in a city location but also not too busy all the time. The university itself could be better if we had more contact time with the university, and a few more facilities, like a kiln.
Best - great community and hands on learning opportunities Worst - need more big student events
Great city campus, active student community and SU
Norwich has a great community feel, with creativity at its core. Having a city centre campus is a huge plus and the facilities are being constantly improved. Feedback seems to be actively sought and actioned upon. Obviously there will always be people that feel there's more the uni could do in any number of areas, but my experience has been nothing but positive. The graphics courses have been incredibly industry focused with the whole course building towards securing employment after graduation. This was a big draw for me as I want my degree to be seen as a valuable asset, and I'm finding that a degree from Norwich in the graphic design industry is very highly regarded.
I like all the events and activities (student union does a lot) but I think there should be more sports activities available
I love the facilities and being able to work in a building with students in similar courses encourages me to speak to others and ask for feedback on my own work ,, helping me further in my studies. The uni buildings being integrated into the town always allows for intresting breaks feeling fresh.
All the tutors are really nice and supportive and I feel that our voices are valued and heard
Great location for popping to town at lunch Wonderful inclusive staff

Norwich university is good when it comes to providing quality resources to create art such as 3d printing, screen printing, and working metals. The teachers are really high quality too along side the future prospects for students which the university provides amazing support for. However some of the courses feel too open and don’t really provide great support in putting together work for submission. I think there should be better guide to show what type of research and planning is needed in these submissions.
The best aspects would be how many clubs there are! From basketball to dance to netball to even a drama society NUA has really got us covered. This allows us to meet different people from different courses, all sharing a common interest. (The societies.) The support we get whether is therapy or financial is easily accessible and the hours of availability work well with ours. One of the not so good aspects would be the hours get between breaks vs how far the canteen is from wherever our course maybe. NUA is notoriously known for being the University around the City centre but the canteen usually is too far and when we get there the options of food are usually not the best. Despite that the tutors/lectures that teach me are really fantastic and understanding based on whatever circumstance each of us have. NUA is truly a welcoming and brilliant University to learn at.
Really love the course I’m on and the tutors, like the people I’ve met and the place in general (Norfolk) have had the most amazing time so far here. The uni could be improved by having more course support (tutors) and more space for quiet working
I love that the buildings are in the city centre so it’s close to everything, student support are really nice, accommodation is good and close to the uni too.
Friendly staff and students Get a lot of help from teachers if you ask for it, they will make an effort A lot of collaboration work To improve could arrange more activities and events for students
norwich is such a great city and a perfect campus for an arts uni. it’s so quick and easy to get help, there’s so many societies and events going on from the SU, and i am having so much fun on my course. i love all the extra stuff going on, optional lectures and events, because it makes the course seem so much more full and like the uni really cares and puts effort into making things happen for its students.
