Fashion Communication and Promotion (with Integrated Foundation Year) BA (Hons)

University rating (3)

Overall, the university has a range of different facilities and the student support team are very caring and show clear concern for students wellbeing. On the other hand, my course itself was incredibly disappointing. From having guest lectures via a Teams call (all post-covid) and only being scheduled in 2 days a week in my final year, to the lectures displaying a lack of effort and laziness to promoting students work. For example, if you were to look up any of the graduates work available on the university website, you will notice the same lazy slideshow again and again, compared to other courses that really enhance every students work and ensure everyone is given a fair opportunity to showcase everything that they have worked so hard for. It is also extremely clear that out course gets the least funding, but even with the funding we do have, I feel it is not at all used wisely. So many missed opportunities for this course, myself and so many others feel mistreated and disrespected. With all the money I've spent on this university, I would expect so much better. First year was probably one of my better memories of this course, a massive shoutout to my lecturer he was so engaging, really wish we could have had more lessons with them as time went on. 5 stars for them.

I love the location, I have truly found myself at this uni. I just wish the student union had more to offer. But as the university is growing im sure this will too.
