It has so many great facilities, the food is incredible. There are a lot of opportunities for students to get involved. I believe the gym could be improved with more machines and maybe a larger space. The library is amazing and it is open 24/7 which is helpful. Great lecturers. The location isn’t the best but you don’t really feel like you’re in middlesbrough when you’re in the uni
All university buildings are located on one campus, which makes it incredibly quick and easy to locate and walk to different buildings. The campus heart is the central hub of the campus, which features the Student Life, Student Union and Library buildings. There are also many cafes serving a variety of foods, so you're never stuck if you need a bite to eat! Development is currently underway for "Digital Life". This building will be the new home for computing, VFX and animation students. This building intends to house industry standard computer labs and an events space which will be used for future events such as our international animation convention Animex.
University experience is amazing very happy
Amazing!
some lectures are questionable
My university experience so far has been good

18-24 years
It’s a good place to study however there is not enough general checks. For example, I was studying in the library and there was people there that had taken their shoes off.. put them on another chair and fell asleep. I felt so uncomfortable that I had to study elsewhere, this is a student only library and can easily be prevented by staff checking each floor rather than staying on just one. Adding to that, in the SU there seems to be events that are only targeting certain ethnicity groups and I wish that there would be more variety. Other than that, it is a good university with plenty of facilities in each building.
My course is both practical and online learning. There is around 4 lessons per week for 3 modules. The contact with lecturers is good and they tend to reply/help within a short time period. The only downfall I would say about my course is that due to some of the lecturers being ex police workers , sometimes they presume that you should already know a lot of information that is new to you in the course
The campus itself is in a safe, open location however outside of it there tends to be homeless people knocking around. It’s near the town centre which is handy, but is also next to a court which tends to bring in the wrong crowd
I personally think £155 per week for one room shared between 7 people is absolutely ridiculous.. that’s £1240 per week which is disgusting. I agree the placement of Cornell is good for first years as it is basically on campus so buildings are found at ease, however the price is way too much. Students are struggling to have food, the prices of the accommodations are going up but student finance isn’t getting increased - it’s not fair. Especially when you’re sharing with 7 other people you would think it would be cheaper. Another point is that there is a gym facility in Cornell, however I wouldn’t really call it a gym because there is about 4 machines in a square room. This ‘gym’ isn’t private, it’s all glass window which allows outsiders to see in aswell as people walking past which I think puts people off going to the gym.
