This university offers lots of opportunities and help if you need it. The city has the atmosphere of a metropolitan city however the prices are reasonable. I would recommend you choose accommodation near to campus and try and grab as much opportunities as possible. For tips on getting a place into university I would recommend some work experience prior to coming. Get to know people in the industry by visiting job fairs, presentations, open day etc.
