Really good university with a lot of supportive staff. The facilities on offer are also great, library is easy to get around and easy to find what you are after. The campus is beautiful and easy to find your way around, full off helpful students and staff members!

The University of Gloucestershire is one of the smaller universities in the UK with multiple campuses making it feel smaller than it is. If you are coming to university for the nightlife then the university of glos may not be for you. However, with a short train journey to Bristol a big night out is not too far away. The support system I have had available to me has been amazing, from my personal tutor, subject librarian and academic helpers. The modules available for me to pick contained was from a small selection, if I could ask for anything to be improved it would be for a more varied module selection. However, the quality of the modules that are available to me were of good quality and the lecturers teaching have great knowledge on the subject.

My years at the university of glos were interrupted by the covid-19 pandemic meaning my first year of study was mostly online. Considering the circumstances I still thoroughly enjoyed the lectures and i felt the staff stepped up in unknown times to support all students. My second and third year were all face-to-face lectures meaning there was more group interaction which I enjoyed. I am only in University for 12 hours a week whereas some other courses have more contact time. I would prefer more contact time to get the most out of the tuition I am paying for. Even if these extra sessions were held online. Lecturers are easy to get hold of and are helpful when approached with questions about the session or assignments.

Pittville had a range of different halls all of different standard and price. I went into the cheapest accommodation on Pittville due to financial struggles and felt like (despite all student accommodation being over priced) Pittville was a good value for money at the time. My room contained my own bathroom and a 3/4 double bed. The amenities on site were good- including a gym, laundry facilities and a study room. Again my time on Pittville was affected by the pandemic so despite this my experience was still a positive one.
