Being in the Centre of Canterbury offers great facilities and such an elegant location. Good night life, great shopping and day time social life as well. The best charity shops to stretch that student budget. As a theologian sitting next to the cathedral with free access to all its facilities and archives. St Augustine heritage site. Our library is state of the art 3 floors of purpose built Heaven on earth! Better facilities for each department to be in one place with designated breakout areas to enable like minded folk to gather for coffee breaks. As a Christian I use the on site chapel which centres my day. We have prayer rooms and facilities for other faiths.

Our uni time was during Covid which meant a number of lectures by necessity were online. Now we are face to face we have the opportunity to build closer study relationships which I’ve found most helpful. The content has been well planned and the quality of our lectures means they keep you mentally challenged during the lectures as well as stimulating the desire to do further reading and research. The extra sessions to support essay writing , how to get the best out of library time and now with our dissertation means we are supported and enabled to achieve the best grades. Whilst enjoying all of this the opportunity to engage with work placement helps explore future options.
