So far during this year I have experienced a multitude of events both good and bad. However I must admit my experience has been largely good as I have received help from my PDT(personal development tutor) and the futures team around certain issues. Not to mention the staff here have lead me in the correct direction since day 1 when I’ve been lost.

The rooms are very good, I’ve seen several wheelchair accessible slopes, elevators and other measures put in place for handicapped individuals. The on-site 3GS are very good as well as they are sizeable and with correct markings while remaining well maintained. Not to mention when paired with the gym/gym membership/ pool there’s an excellent amount of variety.

The futures team are very accommodating in helping students around swapping courses, helping students get any additional help they may require. Finally the student support team are very helpful for students with problems/issues regarding mental and/or physical health.

The staff are absolutely amazing. They’re exceptionally accommodating and helpful as they’ve helped several of my new friends swap courses into better suited degrees. Furthermore, for myself they’ve been incredibly helpful in supplying me with help both additional and necessary to complete my work. Finally I also would like to comment that the food served always fills the lunch time gap and can be very helpful in a rush.

The university work team regularly email me offers around getting jobs in or around the university. Furthermore, the futures team offers a CV360 to help you perfect your CV and also they provide 1:1 help around it and your covering letter righting.

This campus exudes a welcoming, friendly air, underpinned with a professional, caring and dedicated team. The tutors are so engaging and enthusiastic and always ready to support. It really is a place where you can work, learn and feel that you are in a safe and caring place, where your opinion an views always are heard. I think it’s important to recognise both the catering team who provide excellent, nutritious options but also the cleanliness teams. The toilets and communal areas are always so clean, tidy and well presented. I genuinely cannot fault a thing. It’s just so conducive to learning!

I gave 5 stars for internships but these are not applicable for this course. In full time work, the Psychology team have been incredibly flexible and always offered support both on campus and on line. When we meet face to face it is always well structured and focussed learning, always teed up with pre reading .
