The student life and student's union are genuinely incredible. I am on placement this year and can't wait to come back to Cardiff! The facilities and student support, however, could use some improvement. For example, the physics building could use some updating, specifically in the labs. I also feel the support students applying for placement receive is slim to none, and especially whilst on their placement, there is not much correspondance from the University at all.

The support provided to student applying for placement is very poor and the contact with students on placement is almost non existent. Teaching quality is good overall but particularly with some of the second year modules I felt that the workload was entirely overwhelming with lecturers not considering other module assignments.

So fun and social, I have no regrets about staying there. The location is not ideal but the site was always busy and felt safe. Rooms were small but decent.

Cardiff is just a really nice uni to go to, the city is pretty and feels safe, and there’s lots to do with friends and course mates.

The surrounding area is lively and get a good view of the city as it is situated on top of a hill.
