Very supportive and knowledgeable staff, as well as library and well being support

Mainly taught in person with mixture of lectures, problem classes and lab sessions

The course is very unique and there is a wide range of opportunities for lots of academic subjects. The worst aspect happened to be my first year living environment. Unfortunately I picked very unluckily and my flatmates were just the worst! I am very shocked that CLV didn't show more concern for the living environment. But other flats were lovely and didn't have problems. The university is in a pretty great location and the campus has a good balance of old heritage and modern facilities.

Best aspect is how unique it is. It's got a good balance of hands on and theoretical work. The lecturers are highly knowledgeable and skilled in their subject area, which is a testament to how involved they are in the universitys research.

Very easy to get to lectures. The rooms were generally nice however students were allowed allowed pick their rooms at random. This is ideal for getting friends together. But I ended up in a hall with a group of clashing personalities. Very messy and difficult to live with. Looking back I am surprised that the management didn't take more action.
