Lectures are in person it’s harder to understand when the teacher is talking so if there was in class teaching environment taught sessions instead of lectures then that would be better

There’s a lot of face-to-face learning which is good, I don’t think contact with lecturers is amazing however.

Nothing to fault with my accommodation, it is very modern and lots of amenities with an ensuite and also gym facilities.

I personally love my course. Everything is exactly what I wanted to do especially within my career path. But I would probably appreciate if the lectures doesn’t feel like the lecturers are just speaking to themselves sometimes. But it is not a bad course though.

The best part of teaching is they focus on practical learning more rather than theoretical. But as a new student it might difficult to learn things quickly

Bit expensive

As a biomedical scientist I was anticipating to be guided in the different specialist area of biomedical sciences but studies were mainly on molecular genetics and microbiology. But Overall, it has given me a very good exposure to molecular medicine and diagnostics

The course uses a blended learning approach, combining in-class teaching with online resources, which makes learning flexible. The practical sessions and supportive lecturers also help me understand topics clearly.

For years 1-2 there was lots of contact time with tutors and the different modules felt engaging to learn about. Third year is very much self directed, with essentially no in person lectures to attend and contact time is only for occasional check-in meetings. I felt more time in uni even if it’s optional learning would have been beneficial.

Very good accom. Very friendly staff. Flats felt fairly small at the bronze tier that I stayed in, and depending on flatmates it felt impossible to keep clean.
