It’s a nice lifestyle for campus orientated studys. As a music student it lacks resources but I guess it’s inevitable with a uni that offers many subjects. Student union supports quite a lot of events for different lifestyles like fruit market and su nights which is good. Egham is quite nice and safe , with more restaurants opening it’s becoming a better place.

Overall the teaching location is quite old. Rooms often don’t ventilate and makes it very stuffy and hard to concentrate. Quality of lecture highly fluctuates, some lecturers are passionate and good but some are less so. Practice facilities are slightly lacking as there are no support in equipments and due to distribution equality it’s limited to 90mins per person everyday. And some people may not find it to be enough.

Overall it’s good.

The library has lots of study spaces which are all neatly maintained and clean, there are many resources available in the library

Music is detached from every other building. Socially, there is a hierarchy in terms of what instruments are played.

There is lots of transport through Egham, Staines, to Windsor and Heathrow

It takes awhile for maintenance to get back and resolve problems, there is a constant bad smell and there is a lack of ventilation in the rooms in general.
